UFES Work Hour Update – May 3, 2021

After-Hours Work Approved for May 6-7, 2021

After-hours work related to the UFES project has been approved by the City of San Mateo for May 6 and 7, 2021. Work will include a 24-hour test of structural support components for the UFES project at the San Mateo County Event Center site. Nearby residents may experience some construction noise from forklifts outside of the regular approved hours of 7 a.m. through 7 p.m., but the contractor will proactively work to minimize the noise. No dust or vibration impacts are expected from this work.

We thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as we make steady progress towards completion of this much-needed solution for our aging sewer system.
