UFES Work Hour Update – December 3, 2021
After-Hours Work Approved for December 8 through 10, 2021
After-hours work related to the UFES project has been approved by the City of San Mateo for up to two nights between Dec. 8 and 10, 2021. To install the sewer main on Delaware, the nearby high-pressure PG&E gas line needs to be uncovered and monitored during sewer installation. This work will require closure of northbound S. Delaware Street at Saratoga Drive. Through-traffic will be detoured between 28th Avenue and Saratoga Drive. This work has been scheduled during the evening to lessen the impact on daytime traffic. No additional noise, dust, or vibration impacts are expected from this work. Signs will be posted if this work results in additional traffic pattern changes.
