UFES Work Hour Update – May 2, 2022
Off-Hours Work Approved for May 3 – 5, 2022; 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.
Off-hours work related to the UFES project has been approved by the City of San Mateo for Tuesday, May 3 through Thursday, May 5, 2022.
The City’s contractor will be installing equipment at the intersection of S. Delaware Street and 25th Avenue to prepare for future pipeline work. This work has been scheduled overnight to minimize the impact on daytime vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic. While we expect the majority of this work to be complete by May 4, activity may continue through the morning of May 5. Nearby residents can expect some short-term inconveniences such as loud noise and possible vibration. Due to the nature of the work, vehicular and pedestrian traffic may be halted occasionally during these hours to ensure public safety.
Please note, routine approved work hours for S. Delaware Street are from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m.
We thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as we make steady progress towards the completion of our sewer system improvements.
